"This trip to Cuetzelan was a gift from my husband who wanted to combine two of my biggest interests: Mexico and photography. Nothing could have been better because I have loved photography all my life, travelled and photographed in Mexico for years and have become increasingly intrigued and in love with the images, colors and light of this beautiful country. To be taught by such professional and passionate photographer's was an amazing experience which far exceeded my expectations. The opportunity for learning was everywhere, from the technical, the creative, to the interactive, particularly for me, approaching and engaging people for setting up the best shots. I especially valued the range of photographic subject's and conditions which challenged my abilities and gave me the opportunity for improvement. Reviewing the days work in the evenings provided valuable time for creative feedback, great food and conversation. I feel grateful and privileged to have been given a deeper understanding of The Secret Mexico.

I'd like to express to you and your staff how much I enjoyed myself at this year's workshop. Each and every moment spent on our adventure was pure enjoyment. When I arrived in Mexico City everything was new and interesting. Visiting the old towns was truely delightful. The Mexican people were so hospitable and welcoming adding to my enjoyment. The old, the young and the beautiful; what perfect subjects for learning about photography. The magnificant old churches and buildings were yet another source of great fascination for me. There was an abundance of new and fresh images in every direction waiting to be captured with our cameras. Also, I really enjoyed the fact that during our travels we could stop at any time, at any location, at anyone's request to photograph a worthwhile subject. Each time we stopped and examined a scene it proved to be a rich, exciting, new photographic adventure. Last but not least, the members of our group were fantastic. Each member was compatible, helpful and fun, Not only did the instructors help me but the other students were helpful in everything from ordering food to shopping assitance. Thanks again for all your help and I look forward to seeing you again for another workshop.

Your new amigo,

I would have to say it was an incredible and gratifying experience because of all the activities we had and because of the beautilful nature and typical urban view of the first civilitations established there. It was very intersting and exciting seeing all this. On the other hand it was great how the whole team got along, both, profesors and students. I think we all made a very nice frienship. I think the tree profesors, Carlos, Pablo and Gerardo are very professional, since I knew nothing about taking pictures and at the end I really learned about it and about the wonderful things I can do with a camera. I got really satisfaying and pretty pictures. I would really enjoy going again and I really recomend you to go.Thank you for a so nice experience!

I took this workshop 3 weeks after the tragic terrorist events in the USA. Being with the indigenous people in the spectacular sierra mountains of Puebla was incredible therapy; I still find myself daydreaming about the memorable experience. I felt as if I were travelling with close friends and the guides were so helpful and knowledgeable. In one week, I discovered so much about photography, the fascinating Mexican culture and even a great deal about myself. I can hardly wait for my next adventure with "The Secret Mexico."

This is a message for all the people that love photography (like I do). You cannot miss this!!! It«s incredible!!! It is just wonderful to have the opportunity to know all the hidden places, full of colors, sounds, smells, traditions, textures, that you just can«t imagine they exist, people that live in a completly different world than we do. Any where you turn your head, and there is a picture! And the way you learn to SEE things, the aproach you learn to have at all these beautiful things, landscapes, architecture, people etc. is very notorious, little by little you can see how really your pictures improve, because the tutors are really aware of you and your work. I would like to thank the tutors for giving me the oportunity to get into a different world that is just there and we never see, some kilometers away from us, and that is almost extinct and hard to find. I think these kind of experiences are able to open our EYES, and our souls, if you like photography, this workshop can make you combine this two abilities and begin to say something through your pictures!
