Vertiz's most recent book, "Moors and Christians, a cosmic battle", captures the yearly reenactment by the local people of Zacatecas of a key universal confrontation. Once a University teacher, Vertiz dedicates his time and talent to capturing key moments of universal drama, passion and significance. Trips to India and the U.S. have provided the raw material to forge an impressive vision of history, yesterday and today.
